How we make them
What goes into a Nafees coat
A lab coat has an easy job description and a hard life. Here is where we spend the effort.
01
The fabric
Poly-cotton twill between 170 and 240 GSM depending on the coat. Heavy enough to hang properly, open enough to breathe through a double shift, and stable enough to come out of a 60°C wash the same shape it went in.
02
The cut
Six sizes from XS to XXL, in three silhouettes — straight, tailored and slim. The armhole is cut high so the sleeve does not drag when you raise your arm, which is the detail most coats get wrong.
03
The stitching
Double-stitched side seams, bar-tacks at every pocket corner and a reinforced button placket. These are the three places a coat fails first, so these are the three places we over-build.
04
The pockets
Hip pockets deep enough for a phone and a notebook, a chest pocket sized for pens and a card, and on the Premium a hidden inner pocket. Nothing falls out when you lean over a bed.
